This early flowering species sows very easily and fits in the formal and wild garden. They quickly show their many beautiful shades: lilac-blue, white, pink, yellow, red, violet and many intermediate colours. The flowers are shaped like small snapdragons, often with yellow spots in the throat and long, pointed spurs. Height 40-60 cm, a nice length for cutting.
Sowing method
Sowing: April-June in the place of destination or in containers. An easy germinating plant with fine seeds. Mix the seed with fine and dry silver sand to get a good distribution. Rake the seed and keep the soil moist (cloth or bag over it).
