The 50 cm high plants are initially adorned with glossy, dark green leaves with clusters of trumpet-shaped flowers in carmine, red, yellow and white. They open in the afternoon and evening and smell delicious: for an optimal summer evening! The young leaves are edible and are briefly heated in a stir-fry pan. The plant forms elongated root tubers, which have medicinal, purifying effects (see internet) and can be overwintered frost-free by these tubers. Sowing method
Sowing: February-May in a warm place, preferably in a mixture of cocopeat and silver sand. After emergence, place in a cooler and very light place. Plant outside from May.
