Of all the species in this and very confusingly allied genera, the plants represented by these varieties are those known to the general public as "Osteospermums." Bushy plants bearing over a very long period well into autumn large, sophisticated, daisy-like flowers with contrasting dark centres. Great for flower beds, pots and planters. Usually grown as annuals.
